In Creative Media Business, we are making custom-made music CDs, CD-ROMs, and DVD-Videos by using technology which we have fostered with Test Media.
They are not Test Media but music CDs that are sold at the shop and CD-ROMs that are attached to the magazines, so they are a lot more familiar to you.
But the manufacturers in Japan have been equipped with the press apparatus excessively and the foreign manufacturers have been advancing, so at present, price competition is intensifying. This trend is spreading over DVD, so we have been not only making custom-made disks, but developing added value merchandise. We think that it is necessary that we should secure the profit by the new added value merchandise as well as the differentiation with high quality products.
We will materialize the cost cut and profit security which are our highest priority subject by upgrading our company system and automatizing and labor-saving of the product line. |
